Statement from Bishop Burns on Executive Order of Governor Greg Abbott

Please see the following statement from Bishop Burns in response to any confusion that may arise from Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order and Press Conference on Tuesday, March 31.
Also, the Diocese of Dallas has issued a decree continuing the suspension of public liturgical celebrations and of all parish events. Additional Holy Week and Easter guidelines have been published and appear on the Diocesan website. This Decree remains in effect until May 1, 2020 unless it is modified or revoked.

Le pedimos que vea la siguiente declaración del Obispo Burns en respuesta a cualquier confusión que pueda surgir tras la Orden Ejecutiva y Conferencia de Prensa del Gobernador Greg Abbott del martes, 31 de marzo.
Asimismo, la Diócesis de Dallas ha emitido un decreto que continúa la suspensión de las celebraciones litúrgicas públicas y de todos los eventos parroquiales. Se han publicado directrices adicionales de Semana Santa y Pascua, las cuales aparecen en el sitio web Diocesano. Este Decreto permanecerá en vigor hasta el 1o. de mayo de 2020, a menos que sea modificado o revocado.
